Hurricane Isabell blew right by us with hardly more than a slow rain all day. It slammed into the NC and Maryland coast like a sledgehammer, though. We all feel for all the folks affected.
Traffic is so nice now. No lines at the restaurants...the snow birds coming back. All is good with the world. Gorgeous weather in the low 80's and high 70's....
The Embers are playing this weekend in Garden City. If the Monkees were my childhood, the Embers were my young adulthood. We've all grown old together. They are still great, though.
